We collect as little as possible: enough to run your account, convert your tapes and take payment. We don't sell data, show ads or use tracking cookies.

Cookies

We only use two cookies, both strictly necessary for the site to work, so no consent banner is needed:

uid: a random number that keeps your tapes on your shelf in this browser (up to 400 days).
sess: keeps you logged in (up to 400 days, or until you log out).

There are no advertising, analytics or social media cookies, and fonts are served from our own server.

Who else handles your data

We use a small number of providers who process data only on our instructions:

Hostinger (Hostinger International Ltd): web server in France (EU) and our email.
Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd, Ireland): takes your payment. Stripe may transfer data outside the EU under the safeguards approved by the European Commission. See stripe.com/privacy.

We don't sell or share your data with anyone else, unless the law requires it.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or download your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, by emailing contact@dv2mp4.com. We reply within one month. You can close your account at any time the same way.

If you're not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es), or the authority where you live.

Age

dv2mp4.com is not meant for children under 14. We don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and, for important changes, email account holders.
